Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Oracle APEX Developer in Charlotte to lead full lifecycle Oracle app development. You will work with Oracle APEX, SQL Developer, and Quest Toad to deliver enterprise, workflow-centric applications and dynamic web content for government clients.

The role emphasizes strong communication with customers, translation of requirements into actionable designs, and collaboration within an IT department focused on security and mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience; high school diploma with additional years or certifications may be considered.
• U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Experience with full lifecycle development of Oracle Applications, including APEX, and with Oracle IDEs.
• Proficiency in JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML; experience with PL/SQL, Java, and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using Oracle APEX.
• Develop with Oracle APEX 4.0+ and IDEs such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
• Design dynamic web content with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Create dynamic reports in Oracle APEX and support Oracle Database 11+.
• Provide PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, and Unix scripting support; manage unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType).
• Integrate BI Publisher templates and web services; deliver enterprise workflow-centric apps.
• Write system documentation; collaborate with customers to meet requirements and mission needs.
