Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to support a broad range of IT services for government clients, including application support, infrastructure, service desk, ITSM, and more.

The candidate will translate customer requirements into actionable tasks, work with limited supervision, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience; higher credentials welcomed.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
• Experience with full lifecycle Oracle applications development including APEX.
• Experience with Oracle IDEs such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
• Experience with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience handling unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in Oracle.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; agile development experience.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using APEX.
• Design and manipulate dynamic web content with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Create dynamic reports in Oracle APEX and support Oracle database objects.
• Provide scripting and automation in PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, and Unix shells.
• Deliver enterprise‑level, workflow‑centric applications; interface with customers to capture requirements.
