Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to support a broad range of IT services for government clients. The role emphasizes Oracle APEX development, PL/SQL, and Oracle database expertise, with a focus on delivering enterprise-grade, workflow-centric applications.

The candidate should be a self-starter, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to operate with limited supervision while meeting mission needs. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience; degree or equivalent with experience may be considered
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance
• Experience with secure network programming in Oracle environments

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using Oracle APEX
• Develop with Oracle APEX 4.0+ and Oracle Database (11g+)
• Work with Oracle IDEs such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer
• Design and manipulate web content using JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Create dynamic reports within Oracle APEX and support BI Publisher templates
• Provide PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell and Unix scripting support
• Handle unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in Oracle
• Deliver enterprise-level workflow-centric applications
• Automate business processes with logical functions and algorithms
