Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to support a broad range of IT services for government clients. You will lead full lifecycle development of Oracle Applications, primarily using APEX, with hands-on work in Oracle SQL Developer and Quest Toa d.

Strong JS, HTML, and BI Publisher expertise are required, along with security clearance eligibility. The role involves collaborating with a technical team to translate customer needs into robust solutions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience; HS diploma with equivalent experience may be considered
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance
• Experience with full lifecycle development of Oracle Applications including APEX
• Experience with Oracle IDEs such as Quest Toa d and Oracle SQL Developer
• Experience with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with PL/SQL, Java, and scripting (Windows PowerShell, Unix)
• Experience with unstructured data in Oracle environments (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType)
• Experience with BI Publisher templates and web services
• Agile development experience
• Customer interface experience

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using APEX
• Work with Oracle IDEs like Toa d and SQL Developer
• Design dynamic web content with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Create dynamic reports in Oracle APEX and manage Oracle DB objects
• Provide PL/SQL, Java, and scripting support (PowerShell/Unix)
• Ensure secure, efficient handling of data and integration services
• Deliver enterprise-level workflow-centric applications
• Collaborate with program managers and customers to meet requirements
