Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) in the United States seeks a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to support a broad range of IT services including application support, infrastructure, service desk, and security- focused activities.

The role requires strong Oracle APEX development, PL/SQL, Java, and scripting skills, plus the ability to obtain a public trust clearance. The successful candidate will work with limited supervision and communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years of experience preferred
• U.S. Citizen status required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance
• Experience with Oracle Applications lifecycle and APEX toolset
• Experience with Oracle IDEs such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer
• Proficiency in JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell and Unix shell scripting
• Experience handling unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in Oracle

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle development of Oracle Applications using APEX
• Use Oracle IDEs (Toad, SQL Developer) for development and debugging
• Create dynamic web content with JQuery, Ajax, JS, CSS, HTML
• Develop dynamic reports in Oracle APEX and manage Oracle DB objects
• Provide PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell and Unix scripting support
• Handle storage/retrieval of unstructured data in Oracle
• Integrate BI Publisher templates and web services
• Deliver enterprise-grade workflow-centric applications
