Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to support a broad range of IT services, including application development and enterprise infrastructure. The role emphasizes self-starting delivery, effective customer interfacing, and rapid translation of requirements into actions.

The ideal candidate has strong Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, Java, and scripting skills, plus experience with Oracle IDEs, web technologies, and Agile development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience; an HS diploma with equivalent experience may be considered
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance
• Experience with secure network programming in an Oracle environment and with Oracle APEX
• Experience with full lifecycle development of Oracle Applications including APEX
• Experience with Oracle IDEs like Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer
• Experience with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting
• Experience handling unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in Oracle
• Establishing goals and meeting project plan objectives
• Writing and maintaining system documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork; Agile experience
• Government contracting experience, DOJ preferred
• Current DOJ Clearance (ideally)

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using APEX
• Perform advanced Oracle APEX usage and development
• Use Oracle IDEs such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer
• Design and manipulate dynamic web content with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Create dynamic reports within Oracle APEX and manage Oracle DB objects
• Provide PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, and Unix scripting support
• Handle storage/retrieval of unstructured data in Oracle
• Integrate BI Publisher and web services
• Deliver enterprise-level workflow-centric applications
• Build functions and algorithms to automate business processes
