Job summary

Under supervision, you will train and lead other technicians as needed, participate in patient positioning, and help ensure patient safety and quality care across multiple surgical specialties. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Two years of acute Operating Room experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
• Able to train and supervise other technicians as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team before, during, and after surgery.
• Direct, organize, and coordinate work of other Surgical Technicians.
• Prepare and arrange instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Ensure sterility, cleanliness, and functionality of instruments and equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning and setup for surgery.
• Participate in room turnover and equipment maintenance.
• Support supervisor with procurement and equipment recommendations.
