Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year acute OR experience within the past three years or graduation from an approved surgical technician program within the past year.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and short correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment in good working order, testing weekly.
• Ensure sterility and cleanliness of instruments prior to procedures.
• Assist with setup and use of equipment during procedures.
• Arrange instruments and supplies for procedures according to guidance.
• Support patient positioning and turnover of the operating room.
