Qualifications

• Two years of current acute Operating Room experience required.
• Two years of OR experience and ability to scrub and assist in designated procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the work of Surgical Technicians; train and report on their performance.
• Set up operating room, arrange instruments, check sterility and functionality.
• Assist with patient positioning, scrubbing, and PPE.
• Pass instruments to surgeon, count sponges and instruments per policy; apply dressings.
• Support patient safety goals and room turnover.
• Clean, sterilize equipment and assemble case carts.
• Advise on equipment usage and purchasing needs; other duties as required.
