Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead who will be the face of our store, guiding customers through their eyewear journey with friendly, knowledgeable service and a bold, human approach.

You will drive daily sales, engage with patients, and maintain strong product knowledge while supporting store operations and training of team members in optics and customer experience. This part-time role offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities within Visionworks.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring best Customer/Patient Experience.
• Engage with patients and recommend eyewear products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Ensure eyewear fit by measuring and maintaining product/optical knowledge through ongoing training to ensure eyewear is right the first time.
• Support store operations: restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.
