Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead who is the face of our store, blending passionate optics knowledge with a warm, authentic voice to guide every patient through the Visionworks journey.

You will present eyewear options, explain services, and ensure a simple, human and bold shopping experience. In this part-time role you will drive daily sales, engage with customers, recommend products, measure eyewear fits, restock merchandise, and support order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continual training.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment.
