Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through an in-store vision care journey with expertise in optics and products. Prior optical experience helps deliver best-in-class service and sales results.

The role requires licensing as per state guidelines, with part-time hours and opportunities for bonuses or incentives based on performance and market needs.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continued training and development.
• Execute day-to-day store operations to support the store's financial and customer experience goals in lead positions only.
