Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through the eyewear journey with product knowledge and exceptional service. This part-time role requires optical experience and a license where applicable, with ongoing training and performance-driven incentives.

You will drive sales, assist with measurements, and ensure the customer experience aligns with our brand standard while supporting store operations and team goals.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience preferred (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements as per state guidelines, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily sales goals by delivering the Customer/Patient Experience.
• Engage with patients and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product knowledge through training to ensure Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day store operations to support financial and customer experience goals, including opening/closing as needed in LEAD roles.
