Job summary

Visionworks in Kentwood, MI is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to be the face of the store and drive the patient journey. You will apply optical knowledge to recommend eyewear, training, and ensure the Right the First Time policy, while meeting daily sales goals.

This part-time role emphasizes customer service, in-store merchandising, and accurate measurements, with opportunities for training and advancement in a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.
