Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our business, guiding the patient journey and ensuring eyewear needs are met in a simple, human and bold way. A Senior Optical Specialist has 12 mo. prior optical experience.

The role includes delivering daily sales goals, engaging with patients to recommend products, measuring eyewear, staying current on products, and supporting store operations in LEAD positions as needed.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other).
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician license requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and keep product knowledge current.
• Troubleshoot eyewear needs as necessary.
• Perform day-to-day operations including opening/closing in LEAD positions.
