Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead in Michigan to be the face of the store, guiding customers through the eyewear journey with expert product knowledge and a friendly, human approach.

The role emphasizes delivering sales results, engaging customers, and maintaining optical knowledge through ongoing training to ensure the right eyewear fit the first time. Part-time at competitive pay in Novi, with benefits.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training to ensure eyewear is right the first time.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.
