Job summary

Visionworks of America seeks a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store, guiding patients through the Visionworks experience and ensuring eyewear meets needs simply and boldly.

The role requires optical knowledge, strong customer service, and a drive to achieve daily sales goals while maintaining store operations and product presentation. Part-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

12 months optical experience, or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
Engages with patients/customers and recommends products/services meeting eye care needs.
Measures patients/customers for eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge through ongoing training to ensure eyewear is right the first time.
Performs day-to-day operational activities to support store financial and customer experience goals, including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment.
