Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Senior Operations Management Trainee to join a national leadership program. You will relocate after the program, travel up to 95% during training, and aim for a Plasma Center Operations Manager role at a BioLife location. The role blends hands-on operations with mentorship in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Relocation required upon graduation/completion of Trainee Program.
• 3–5 years leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
• Up to 90–100% travel during the Trainee Program.
• Able to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to travel to BioLife locations nationwide.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and Holidays.
• Valid driver's license for the program duration.
• Able to lean, bend, stoop, crouch and reach above shoulders.
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasional lifts up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• High probability of glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Continuous learning & development: six-month expedited training with 12 months to obtain a Plasma Center Manager role.
• Team management: motivate a diverse team, conduct reviews, staff planning & recruiting.
• Career advancement: progress toward Plasma Center Operations Manager and open new centers.
• Supportive teamwork: operate in a fast-paced environment and provide operational support.
• Exceptional customer service: retain donors and assist with production.
• Travel opportunities: network across BioLife centers and return home every other weekend.
