Job summary

Ascension Recovery Services is seeking a highly organized Senior Operations Specialist to support our Vice President of Operations and move key priorities from planning to execution. This role is hands-on, with a focus on solving problems, organizing complex projects, and implementing new initiatives across departments.

You will coordinate cross-functional projects, develop SOPs and playbooks, track milestones, and prepare leadership-ready reports. Remote-friendly with ET hours preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years in healthcare operations, project management, compliance, or related field.
• Behavioral health or substance use treatment experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and process improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; strong Excel skills and data visualization experience.

Responsibilities

• Support VP of Operations by organizing and executing key priorities and projects.
• Create project plans with timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across corporate and facility teams.
• Develop SOPs, workflows, playbooks, and job aids.
• Analyze data to identify trends and prepare dashboards and leadership summaries.
• Support regulatory readiness, audits, and facility inspections.
