Job summary

Xcel Energy in Colorado is seeking a Standard Operations Scheduler to maintain and coordinate daily work plans across multiple crews. This role emphasizes safety, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance, with strong focus on resource allocation and real-time scheduling adjustments.

Responsibilities include assigning work, coordinating equipment and materials, and ensuring readiness while communicating with supervisors and stakeholders to maximize productivity and on-time starts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum five years' experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations.
• Scheduling/planning experience within operations.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage work activities to meet requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
• Knowledge of and ability to use computer software including work management, mapping and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Adjust planned schedules and assign crews for priority tasks.
• Review incoming designed work outside normal scheduling window and manage queue.
• Review work packet before assigning; coordinate equipment and materials; ensure readiness.
• Manage work rejections, triage new requests, and adjust schedule for disruptions.
• Communicate schedule updates to frontline leaders and stakeholders.
