Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. is seeking an AVP & Operations Product Owner for Bank Operations. The role owns the full roadmap and backlog, engaging with stakeholders to refine needs and deliver value. It requires strategic prioritization and cross-functional collaboration across business and technology teams.

The position is 100% remote within the bank's footprint with occasional in-person meetings. The wage range includes extensive PTO and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in product ownership, business analysis, technology, operations or related discipline with exposure to product ownership preferred.
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or other iterative delivery methodologies is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders to refine needs.

Responsibilities

• Own the full roadmap, backlog and day-to-day direction for products and initiatives.
• Lead backlog refinement, delivery planning and requirements clarification.
• Coordinate with business, technology, and vendor teams; manage risks and dependencies.
• Ensure alignment with governance, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a strong voice of the customer within the capability area.
