Job summary

Prolific Academic Ltd seeks Operations and PMO leaders to join its Expert Network as subject matter experts, bringing director-level experience in operations or PMO across sectors. You’ll apply your domain knowledge in governance, capacity planning, and portfolio management to assist researchers with real-world planning insights and research tasks.

Successful candidates undertake a quick skills test; tasks may take one hour or less, with pay up to $200 per hour and the option to work from home

Qualifications

• Director-level or above experience in an Operations or PMO function across sectors.
• Deep domain knowledge in project governance, resource planning, portfolio management, or capacity planning.
• Hands-on experience with planning/PPM tools such as MS Project, Planview, Smartsheet, Jira, or ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate complex planning workflows into insights.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail in governance topics.
• PayPal account to receive payment.

Responsibilities

• Answer research questions on topics like prioritisation, resource allocation, and governance.
• Review PMO scenarios including capacity reviews, milestone escalations, and forecasting workflows.
• Participate in surveys and interviews to inform planning practices and PMO operations.
• Provide feedback on tools, workflows, and processes related to planning and portfolio management.
• Contribute subject matter input to research on how PMO functions use governance frameworks.
