Job summary

Prolific is seeking Operations and PMO leaders to join our Expert Network as subject matter experts. You will leverage your director-level experience across operations and governance to inform research on planning, resource allocation, and portfolio management.

Successful candidates will complete a brief test and, if invited, join Prolific as a participant, with pay for research tasks. Pay rates can reach up to $200 per hour for experienced experts.

Qualifications

• Director-level or higher in Operations or PMO across sectors.
• Deep domain knowledge in governance, planning, portfolio management, capacity planning, or operational strategy.
• Hands-on use of planning/PPM platforms (Microsoft Project, Planview, Smartsheet, Jira or ServiceNow).
• Strong analytical thinking for complex planning workflows and portfolio experience.
• Excellent written communication with attention to detail in governance, planning, or PMO topics.

Responsibilities

• Answer research questions with expert perspective on prioritisation, resource allocation, governance, and planning processes.
• Review PMO scenarios like governance cycles, capacity reviews, milestone escalations, and budgeting workflows.
• Participate in surveys or interviews informing planning practices and PMO operations.
• Provide feedback on tools, workflows, and processes related to planning and portfolio management.
• Contribute subject matter input to help research teams understand how Operations and PMO use planning tools and governance frameworks.
