Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead and develop a diverse team in a warehouse environment. You will design workflows, plan labor, and implement best practices to boost productivity and reduce costs while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will manage KPI reporting, foster cross-functional collaboration, and partner with HR on hiring for supervisory roles, all to meet customer expectations and maintain DHL’s leadership in contract logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plan, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations and foster a culture of safety.
• Compile reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Collaborate with HR and site leadership to ensure a comprehensive hiring process for Supervisors.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and exceed expectations.
• Partner with customers to address concerns and achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
