Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead the warehouse team, drive efficiency, and ensure safe, reliable operations across our facilities. You will develop staffing, implement processes, and guide performance to meet customer expectations and company goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in logistics, with P&L familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plan, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness.
• Compile comprehensive reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and site leadership to ensure a comprehensive hiring process of Supervisors.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the consistent and prompt fulfillment of customer orders.
• Engage with customers to address any concerns or issues, with the goal of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
