Job summary

Stord is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the fulfillment center’s daily flow, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across inbound, put-away, outbound, and returns. You will manage Area Managers, drive KPI performance, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support new client launches.

The role requires strong communication, extensive WMS experience, and the ability to lead a diverse team in a 200k sq ft facility with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a high-volume direct-to-consumer environment in a manager level role or higher.
• Experience leading salaried teams of 5+ employees and 60+ non-exempt.
• Experience running a highly technical operation, including automation.
• Experience in a 200k sq ft facility or larger.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and work in a distribution center environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for the fulfillment center, including inbound, put-away, outbound, B2C/B2B, and returns.
• Lead and develop Area Managers, operations leads, and warehouse associates to meet daily goals.
• Set and maintain all operational KPIs: location accuracy, dock-to-stock, outbound SLA, order productivity, and personnel productivity.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and ICQA, ensuring SOPs and GMP standards where required.
• Manage budgeting and payroll (operational P&L).
• Plan staffing and scheduling to meet demand and launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IE, Solutions, Quality, Implementations).
• Support HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other Ops leaders to drive results.
