Job summary

Stord is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our high-volume fulfillment center, driving inventory accuracy and efficient processes across inbound, outbound, and returns.

You will manage Area Managers and warehouse staff, set KPIs, oversee budgeting and payroll, and partner with engineering, QA, and implementations to support new client launches and continuous improvement in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a high-volume direct-to-consumer environment in a manager level role or higher.
• Experience leading salaried teams of 5 or more.
• Experience leading teams of 60 non-exempt or more.
• Experience running and leading a highly technical operation, including automation.
• Experience working in a 200k sq ft facility or larger.
• Experience leading or contributing in startups or change management projects.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) from configuration/troubleshooting perspective.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day fulfillment center operations (inbound flow, put away, outbound, B2C and B2B, returns).
• Lead and develop a team of Area Managers, operations leads and warehouse associates to hit daily goals.
• Set and maintain operational KPIs in the four walls - location accuracy, dock to stock, outbound SLA, Order productivity.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and support ICQA with SOPs, audits, and GMP adherence where required.
• Manage budgeting and payroll (operational P&L) and scheduling/staffing.
• Ensure success during new client launches and drive cross-functional collaboration with IE, solutions engineering, QA, and implementations.
• Coach and develop Area Managers and staff; drive continuous improvement.
