• Bachelor's degree preferred; in lieu of degree, equivalent training/experience considered.
• Experience in leadership roles and HR policy administration is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Foster a high-performing safety culture and empower staff to speak up.
• Develop relationships with peers, staff, and union leadership to enhance safety, inclusion and accountability.
• Implement safety and environmental safeguards to minimize hazards within regulations.
• Contribute to goals, priorities, policies, and budgeting for the region.
• Plan and supervise the operational group; monitor progress and support staff as needed.
• Engage leadership to set milestones and benchmark safety, reliability, and customer service.
• Interpret collective bargaining agreements and company policies.
• Respond to customer complaints and regulator inquiries.
• Oversee area budget for personnel, materials, equipment, and maintenance.
• Develop supervisors and staff, set development targets and succession plans.
• Coordinate emergency response and outage restoration efforts.
