Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Manager, Operations to lead two shop locations (Waynesboro & Shippensburg) in a 24/7 electric utility operation. You will drive safe, reliable power delivery, manage budgets, and coordinate regulatory compliance and emergency response.

You will partner with union leadership, guide supervisors, and ensure alignment with company safety and inclusion goals while maintaining high performance and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in safe operations and people management.
• Experience with union relations and HR policies is desirable.
• Strong understanding of distribution operations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the 24/7/365 operations teams across two shops.
• Ensure safe, reliable delivery of electricity and regulatory compliance.
• Plan, organize, and control regional operations within budget.
• Engage with union leadership and staff to foster inclusion and safety culture.
• Oversee budget preparation for personnel, equipment, and maintenance.
• Coordinate emergency response and outage restoration efforts.
