We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager – Content Excellence to join the Chief Marketing Office (CMO) and support enterprise-wide content operations and strategic initiatives.
This role will lead operational frameworks that improve content planning, workflows, governance, and execution across marketing teams. You will help teams adopt new content capabilities, streamline processes, remove cross‑functional barriers, and drive efficient delivery of high‑quality content.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute learning journeys, enablement programs, and training for cross‑functional teams adopting new content capabilities, tools, and guidelines.
- Lead end‑to‑end content workflows and governance, ensuring alignment across marketing and business stakeholders.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and develop scalable processes that improve efficiency and accelerate content delivery.
- Manage content lifecycles, asset repositories, timelines, approvals, and multi‑channel deliverables.
- Facilitate cross‑functional content forums, review meetings, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Translate strategic requirements into clear operational plans, action items, and execution timelines.
- Drive change management and adoption of new content tools, processes, guidelines, and AI‑enabled capabilities.
- Partner with creative, marketing, legal/regulatory, technology, and executive stakeholders.
- Analyze workflow performance, asset utilization, and operational metrics to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in content operations, marketing operations, creative project management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing end‑to‑end content workflows and multi‑channel content delivery.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and/or digital asset management platforms.
- Strong project management, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
- Experience developing processes, documentation, training, and enablement programs.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
- Familiarity with MLR/PRC review processes.
- Experience with Veeva Vault, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or similar CMS/DAM platforms.
- Experience with Agile marketing methodologies and creative agency workflows.
- Experience supporting generative AI adoption for content creation or content management.
- Previous experience with enterprise‑scale content operations or marketing transformation initiatives.
