Confidential is seeking a Senior Operations Manager in the Greater Lowell, MA area. This field-based leadership role oversees a large multi-service operation with a workforce of more than a thousand employees, multiple facilities, and a fleet of several hundred vehicles.

The role leads an Assistant Operations Manager and a team of Transportation Coordinators, driving safety, staffing, and performance metrics while ensuring strong client partnerships and regulatory compliance across all locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of operations management experience, ideally in transportation or logistics.
• Proven ability to lead managers and supervisors in a high-volume operation.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills with experience managing client relationships.
• Detail-oriented with a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with local roads, distances, and travel times in the Merrimack Valley area is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for school district partners, building strong, lasting relationships.
• Lead and reinforce a safety-first culture across all operations.
• Review key operational metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and act on the results.
• Interview, hire, and train Transportation Coordinators and Supervisors, developing a pipeline of internal talent.
• Maintain staffing levels for drivers and monitors, and prepare monthly work schedules.
• Ensure all employees hold proper certifications, training, and licensing.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance so the fleet remains in a high state of readiness.
• Review and prepare monthly billing and payroll.
• Serve as the primary contact for outside vendors.

About the Opportunity

Turning Point is partnering with a leading regional transportation provider to identify an experienced Senior Operations Manager. This leader will oversee all operational aspects of a large, multi-service location with a workforce of more than a thousand employees, multiple facilities, and a fleet of several hundred vehicles. The role leads an Assistant Operations Manager and a team of Transportation Coordinators.
