Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced senior operations leader within Wealth Management Operations to oversee the IRBPD team, including payroll, benefits, and disbursements. This role focuses on identifying complex problems, ensuring policy compliance, and driving efficiency across a 17+ FTE unit reporting to the IRBPD Executive.

You will coordinate cross-functional efforts, manage audits, and lead strategic initiatives to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting a process end-to-end, including client experience, product, processes, systems, controls, risks, and metrics targets.
• Experience leading Operational Excellence initiatives focusing on volume reduction and productivity.
• Proactive approach to bring forward new ideas and perspectives to drive innovation and deliver differentiated solutions.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and promote positive organizational change.
• Ability to drive change within teams by influencing stakeholders and fostering continuous improvement.
• Strong executive presence and written communication skills; able to engage in high-level discussions and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior escalation point for high-priority incidents, coordinating triage, communications, recovery, and post-incident review.
• Support functions carrying significant risk with impacts on key client relationships.
• Direct maintenance and enhancement of departmental procedures to meet enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead communications, change management, and workforce initiatives to improve business performance.
• Build and mentor a high-performing, inclusive team through coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
• Drive end-to-end process improvements with cross-functional teams across the division.
• Lead monthly business reviews to assess performance, trends, and risks; implement action plans.
