Job summary

ORBIS Corporation is seeking an experienced service center supervisor to oversee daily operations, enforce safety programs, and drive continuous improvement. You will manage metrics, budgets, inventory, and staff development while ensuring timely shipments and strong customer relations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role requires leadership of a diverse team, adherence to Lean principles, and willingness to travel as needed to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in data entry using a Warehouse Management System.
• Experience in training and employee development.
• Strong supervision of a production process, budget, and business operations.
• Understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and enforcement of ORBIS Safety Programs.
• Daily review of production metrics and KPIs.
• Provide leadership by modeling ORBIS standards and expectations.
• Direct continuous improvement to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with local customers.
• Achieve budgeted financial goals for the service center.
• Accurate inventory management.
• Interview and hire service center employees.
• Ensure employees meet job level expectations and requirements.
• Travel 15-25% as needed.
