Job summary

Henderson Group seeks an Operations Manager for a Freehold, NJ area manufacturing site. You will lead a fast-paced, multi-shift operation with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Expect involvement in Lean initiatives, capital planning, and cross-functional collaboration to drive equipment reliability and process excellence. The role requires 7+ years of operations management experience in regulated industries, plus a Six Sigma Green Belt and proven leadership of large

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of operations manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments highly preferred.
• Experience leading large teams (100+ direct/indirect reports).
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, throughput, reliability and cost targets.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives; implement visual controls, standard work, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Coach and develop supervisors and team leads; manage hiring, onboarding and succession planning.
• Collaborate across maintenance, engineering, quality, planning, and logistics to support industrialization and new product launches.
• Manage budgets, labor planning, and operating expenses; advise site leadership on strategy.
