Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Senior Operations Manager in USA. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, and shipping, while planning inbound/outbound volume and space utilization to meet service and cost objectives.

You will manage hiring, training, and performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure KPI achievement, safety, and SOP compliance across the operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7 years in logistics/distribution environment.
• 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience working in a warehouse setting with temperature variability.
• Proficiency with WMS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations including warehousing, receiving, and shipping.
• Plan inbound/outbound volume and space utilization to meet KPI targets.
• Lead hiring, training, and performance management of staff.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-savings initiatives.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to SOPs.
