Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in USA is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, and shipping, aligning with service and cost objectives.

You will plan inbound and outbound volume, lead hiring and training, manage labor planning, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction across the operation.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution.
• 5 years’ supervisory experience.
• Ability to work in unregulated temperatures in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, and shipping.
• Plan inbound and outbound volume and space utilization to meet service objectives.
• Hire, train, and address performance issues; conduct appraisals and promotions.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to SOPs and client SLAs.
• Coordinate with HR for hiring, training, and development; manage KPIs.
