Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead the Air-Cooled Chiller Value Stream at the Charlotte plant.

You will own end-to-end manufacturing execution, drive Lean improvements, and manage a team of supervisors and hourly staff to deliver safety, quality, and cost targets. You will partner with Quality, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Engineering to develop strategy, optimize throughput, and build leadership capability within a fast-paced, high-mix

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, or supply chain leadership experience.
• 3+ years leading leaders in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the operational strategy for the Air-Cooled Value Stream.
• Own the value stream P&L performance through labor, productivity, quality, inventory, and costs.
• Lead annual operating plans, capacity planning, headcount planning, and capital investment initiatives.
• Translate business priorities into measurable objectives and ensure execution.
• Lead multiple lines to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Drive Lean manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving across the value stream.
• Sponsor major operational improvement projects focused on automation and cost reduction.
