Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Charlotte, NC seeks an Established Quality Engineering professional to lead quality initiatives for the Charlotte Air Cooled Product lines. You will drive external quality metrics, interface with service, sales/marketing and manufacturing, and triage corrective actions based on cost and impact.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Materials Engineering and 4+ years in quality management or operations in manufacturing, with ISO9001 experience a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Materials Engineering is required.
• 4+ years in Quality Management, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or Operations in manufacturing.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA is a plus.
• Experience with ISO9001 certification and internal auditing is preferred.
• Strong data manipulation, interpretation and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Protect and drive external performance quality metrics (Claim Count, Standard Warranty, Customer Escapes PPM).
• Act as key interface between service, sales/marketing and manufacturing.
• Analyze plant customer claims and triage corrective actions based on cost, occurrence or high-profile escapes.
• Establish a bi-lateral continuous improvement culture and coordinate with field teams.
• Support Q process for projects to improve customer satisfaction.
• Document and implement containment and corrective actions.
