Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to optimize water‑cooled applied chiller production, lead the second shift, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and drive continuous improvement across the plant. You will design layouts, tooling, and documentation, ensuring world‑class manufacturing standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience; 3+ with advanced degree.
• Strong troubleshooting in mechanical systems and familiarity with ASME standards.
• Ability to work independently on the second shift with cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Process Design & Optimization: develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing processes and layouts.
• Technical Troubleshooting: respond to unplanned events and diagnose mechanical issues.
• Workflow & Layout: plan assembly and materials handling layouts and sequencing.
• Tooling & Documentation: design tooling and fixtures; maintain process docs and quality plans.
• Product Support: support existing product line design activities and modifications.
• Continuous Improvement: lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives and root‑cause analysis.
• Technical Leadership: mentor second‑shift staff and ensure adherence to standard work.
• Compliance: ensure safety, environmental and regulatory requirements are met.
