Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC in Freehold, NJ is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a fast-paced production team and champion continuous improvement initiatives. You will coach and develop a multi-shift workforce while driving Lean and Six Sigma practices to improve safety, quality and throughput.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, budget stewardship, and strategic planning to support site growth and facility modernization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 7+ years in operations manufacturing management.
Experience in pharmaceutical, personal care, food or beverage manufacturing environments.
Experience overseeing 24/7 operations and leading large teams (100+ reports).
Root cause analysis and corrective action experience; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
Budget management and ERP experience; strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Direct 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, throughput, and cost targets.
Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives and Daily Management, 5S, SMED, Kaizen, and standard work.
Coach supervisors and team leads; oversee hiring, onboarding, and qualification programs.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning, and logistics on new product launches.
Manage budgets, labor planning, and operating expenses; advise site leadership on growth.
