Job summary

WM (Waste Management) in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior, Operations Specialist for Collections to provide advanced clerical and administrative support to Managers and coordinate daily operations.

The role uses Microsoft Suite to manage tasks such as procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor, and assists with payments and project implementations. A High School Diploma and 2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve safety, service, and operational issues.
• Maintain and distribute department-related information daily.
• Communicate with supervisors and managers on operational matters.
• Be the proxy for KRONOS for all daily updates for drivers and helpers.
• Use Microsoft Suite and additional software tools to manage tasks such as procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor.
• Assist in processing payments and other financial tasks as necessary.
• Assist in implementing operational projects and communicate with customers about service issues.
• Coordinate scheduling and work assignments with employees.
