Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist for Collections to provide advanced clerical and administrative support to department Managers and to help coordinate daily operations.

The role involves troubleshooting safety and service issues, maintaining department information, and communicating with supervisors, customers, and drivers. POS and KRONOS updates are part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve safety, service, and operational issues.
• Maintain and distribute department information daily.
• Communicate with supervisors and managers on operational matters.
• Proxy for KRONOS for daily updates for drivers and helpers.
• Use Microsoft Suite and related tools to manage procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor.
• Assist with processing payments and other financial tasks as needed.
• Support implementation of operational projects as required.
• Communicate with customers about service issues.
• Coordinate scheduling and work assignments with employees.

I. Job Summary

At WM, the Senior, Operations Specialist for Collections provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental Managers, and assists in coordinating all aspects of daily operations.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A Senior, operations specialist assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues, maintains and distributes department-related information daily, communicates with other supervisors and managers on operational matters, maintains the office, and is the proxy for KRONOS for all daily updates for drivers and helpers.

Is responsible for using Microsoft Suite and additional software tools to manage a variety of daily tasks, such as procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor, assisting with the processing of payments and other financial tasks as necessary, assisting in the implementation of operational projects as needed, communicating with customers about service issues as required, and communicating with employees about scheduling and work assignments as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
• 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
