Job summary

GP Fund Solutions (GPFS) is seeking a Senior Operations Accountant to join a collaborative team focused on client success and investor confidence. You will maintain client accounting records, process payroll and payments, and prepare reconciliations and financial workpapers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of bookkeeping or staff accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate client accounting records, including journal entries for payroll, payments, expenses, and accruals, and review of accounts payable invoices.
• Deliver responsive client service by recording and analyzing transactions, preparing reconciliations, and assembling detailed financial workpaper packages.
• Prepare and review cash reports to support cash management.
• Process client payments via wire transfers and checks with proper authorization and accuracy.
• Maintain and update client and investor banking and wiring instructions across multiple entities.
• Prepare monthly or quarterly client financial reports, including completion and review of bank reconciliations.
• Assist with the coordination and preparation of annual tax packages and supporting schedules.
• Manage semi-monthly payroll processing through third-party vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

What We're Looking For:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
