Job summary

GP Fund Solutions (GPFS) is seeking an Operations Accountant to join a collaborative, growth-minded team. You will handle daily journal entries, payroll-related processes, and AP reviews for clients and investors.

This role offers hybrid scheduling after probation, CPA reimbursement program, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience, internships included.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Maintain journal entries for payroll, expenses, accruals and other routine transactions.
• Process and review accounts payable invoices.
• Provide client service for transaction recording, analysis, reconciliations.
• Prepare cash reporting and execute payments via wire and check.
• Maintain client and investor wiring instructions.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly client financial reports and bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate annual tax packages.
• Prepare and oversee semi-monthly payrolls with third-party vendors.
• Handle additional duties as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Daily maintenance of journal entries related to payroll, expenses, accruals, and other routine transactions, including processing and review of accounts payable invoices.
• Provide client service across a range of matters, including transaction recording and analysis, reconciliations, and preparation of financial workpaper packages.
• Prepare and/or review cash reporting and execute payments via wire and check.
• Maintain accurate client and investor wiring instructions across multiple entities.
• Prepare monthly or quarterly client financial reports, including bank account reconciliations.
• Assist in the coordination of annual tax packages.
• Prepare and oversee semi-monthly payrolls using third-party vendors.
• Prepare and review quarterly accounts receivable invoices.
• Additional responsibilities may arise based on business need.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.
• 0-2 years of experience, Internships included
• Strong knowledge of industry and accounting principles, US GAAP Expertise.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
