Job summary

GP Fund Solutions (GPFS) in Minneapolis seeks a Senior Fund Accountant to advance your accounting career within a people-first fund administrator. You’ll manage treasury, post journal entries, and support quarterly reporting while upholding SOC-1 controls.

The role includes handling capital calls and investor inquiries, collaborating with clients and teammates to deliver excellence, and enjoying strong training, CPA reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, and a hybrid schedule after probation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage treasury functions including reconciliations, cash reporting, and disbursements.
• Post journal entries and support quarterly reporting cycles.
• Assist in GAAP financial statement preparation.
• Handle capital calls, distributions, and investor inquiries.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to deliver timely deliverables.
• Maintain and review SOC-1 internal control procedures.
• Maintain an internal client deliverable schedule and contribute to timelines.
• Drive informed proposals and timelines for deliverables with teams and clients.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
