Job summary

GP Fund Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in New York. You will manage treasury functions, post journal entries, and support quarterly GAAP reporting, while maintaining SOC-1 controls and coordinating with clients and teammates.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least 2 years of accounting experience, with strong MS Office proficiency. A hybrid scheduling model is available after probation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Manage treasury functions including reconciliations, cash reporting, and disbursements.
• Post journal entries and support quarterly reporting cycles.
• Assist in GAAP financial statement preparation.
• Handle capital calls, distributions, and investor inquiries.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to deliver excellence.
• Maintain and review SOC-1 internal control procedures.
• Weekly maintenance of an internal client deliverable schedule.
• Lead teams and clients with informed proposals and timelines.
