Job summary

CertainTeed Roofing, a Saint-Gobain company, seeks a Senior Operational Excellence Manager to drive World Class Manufacturing improvements at its 4-wide plant. You will replicate best practices, set standard work, and sustain initiatives aligned with the business strategy.

You will lead Kaizen events, coach pillar teams, and deploy the OPEX roadmap while promoting data-driven decision making across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Six Sigma/Lean Black Belt certification preferred.
• Certified Manufacturing Engineer preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, process engineering or technical project development.
• Strong change management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to teach WCM methods (Lean/Six Sigma) at Green/Black Belt level.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and project management capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead large or multi-site operational excellence initiatives to deliver measurable NMS, productivity gains, and waste reduction.
• Facilitate Steering Committee alignment on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people KPIs.
• Own Deployment Plan and OPEX Roadmap, ensuring consistent execution across plants.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen events, and problem-solving workshops.
• Coach pillar leaders and improvement teams across four plants.
• Champion performance tracking tools and governance across in-scope plants.
