Job summary

CertainTeed, a Saint-Gobain company, seeks an Operational Excellence Manager to lead world-class manufacturing improvements at the Oxford plant. You will drive NMS, productivity gains, and waste reduction, coaching pillar leaders and ensuring sustained business impact.

You will foster continuous improvement, manage plant KPIs, and deploy best practices across the network, aligning with corporate strategies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-10 years in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or Technical Project Development required.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams required.
• Proven experience with teaching WCM methods and techniques required.
• Ability to multi-task multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive implementation of operational excellence initiatives to deliver measurable results.
• Facilitate steering committees to align safety, quality, delivery, cost and people site priorities.
• Own and maintain deployment plan and roadmap and drive project execution.
• Lead RCA, Kaizen events, and problem-solving workshops to eliminate losses.
• Coach pillar teams to enhance technical expertise and drive results.
• Champion use of performance tracking tools to ensure informed decisions.
• Collaborate with OPEX leadership to align with corporate strategies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement at all levels.
• Share and implement best practices across the network.
