Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate to bridge engineering and the open source community around Omnigent. In this build-the-community role you will host talks, write blogs, create demos, and help contributors land their first PR while integrating Omnigent into diverse stacks.

Reporting to the Head of Developer Relations, you will own advocacy projects end-to-end, mentor others, speak at events, and shape a cohesive open source strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a developer advocate or hands-on technical role.
• Hands-on experience with agentic tooling and coding agents.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills.
• Proven open-source contributions and working in the open.
• Experience growing contributor communities.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Own Omnigent advocacy projects end-to-end for Omnigent, from scoping through delivery.
• Grow the Omnigent contributor community: lower the barrier to a first contribution, review and triage in the open, and help new maintainers take on real responsibility.
• Drive external adoption by showing developers how to integrate Omnigent into their existing agent stacks and products.
• Create templates, sample repositories, and reference implementations that developers can clone, fork, and ship.
• Create high-quality educational content — videos, tutorials, courseware, and blog posts covering harness composition, contextual policies, sandboxing, and cost controls.
• Drive awareness and adoption of Omnigent through speaking engagements at industry events, conferences, and meetups.
• Mentor and unblock less-experienced advocates in content, demos, and public speaking.
