Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate for Omnigent to bridge engineering teams and the open source community.

You will deliver talks, host panels, create blogs, tutorials, and sample repositories while mentoring newer advocates.

Reporting to the Head of Developer Relations, you will shape an open source strategy and help developers integrate Omnigent into their stacks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience as a developer advocate and in a hands-on technical role.
• Hands-on experience with agentic developer tooling and coding agents.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills and comfort with codebases.
• Experience contributing to open source and working in the open.
• Public portfolio of technical work (repos, tutorials, talks).

Responsibilities

• Own medium-to-large advocacy projects end-to-end for Omnigent, from scoping through delivery.
• Grow the Omnigent contributor community and lower the barrier to first contributions.
• Drive external adoption by showing developers how to integrate Omnigent into stacks.
• Create templates, sample repos, and reference implementations.
• Produce high-quality educational content: videos, tutorials, blogs.
• Speak at industry events, conferences, and meetups.
• Advise between community and engineering and influence roadmaps.
• Support developers where they are (GitHub, Discord, Slack, Stack Overflow, Reddit).
